Welcome to shiftspace. By using our application – including our Microsoft Teams integration – you agree to the following Terms of Use. These Terms clarify how you may use the service, what we provide, and how we each bear responsibility.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing or using the shiftspace application, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.
2. Use of the Application
Our application is intended for professional and developmental use in the context of people and organisational development programmes. You may not use the app for unlawful, harmful, or disruptive purposes.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use complies with all applicable laws and organisational policies, especially in regulated industries.
3. User Responsibilities
You agree not to:
- Access or attempt to access services or data that are not intended for you
- Share or misuse content created in the application without proper consent
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify any part of the application
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
4. Support and Service Availability
We aim to ensure smooth operation of our application but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Support is provided during business hours (CET) via email at hallo@shiftspace.com.
We reserve the right to make changes or discontinue parts of the service with appropriate notice where feasible.
5. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our privacy policy for detailed information on how we collect, process, and protect your personal data in accordance with the GDPR.
No automated analysis of sensitive user content (such as journal entries or peer reflections) takes place unless explicitly requested. Data retention periods are also described in the privacy policy.
6. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the application, including all content, code, and design elements, are owned by shiftspace UG or its licensors. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the application in accordance with these Terms.
Any unauthorised use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, shiftspace shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the application.
This includes any loss of data, interruption of service, or reputational harm.
8. Third-Party Services
Our application may interact with third-party services such as Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp, or other platforms. These services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

9. Modification of Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in advance. Continued use of the application after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Termination

You may discontinue use at any time by uninstalling the application or deleting your account via your profile settings.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The place of jurisdiction shall be Berlin, unless otherwise required by statutory law.
